The AquaTech Surf Housing is constructed of durable light-weight polyurethane and designed ergonomically, making it feel similar to the camera it fits closely around. The controls are tactile using stainless steel and aluminum. All aluminum parts have been anodized for maximum protection and product longevity.
Camera installation is fast and simple. The dependable controls are conveniently positioned at your fingertips. An assortment of ports allows for the use of a large array of lenses including fisheye and telephoto zooms. This makes the housing well suited to surface work, as opposed to housings designed for diving that often only allow for use of wide-angle and macro lenses.

AquaTech has released an improved pistol system for their Canon and Nikon Housings. The switch is very sensitive and direct which ensures no shots are missed, while the grip has been redesigned to be lighter and more ergonomic in your hand.

The AquaTech Pistol Shutter Release does not feature auto focus control. When using the pistol grip, zone focus will produce sharper, more consistent images
